1. Platform Services Overview

Lerny operates an integrated digital platform designed for education communities across India. The platform facilitates:

• Discovery and exploration of teacher vacancies and school staffing requirements across all states and union territories.
• Discovery and participation in educational events, conferences, school/college fests, academic competitions, and teacher workshops.
• Digital ticketing, participant registration, badge generation, and QR-based entrance check-in management.

Lerny acts as a technology intermediary between event organizers, schools/institutions, teachers, and event attendees.

2. User Accounts & Verification

Public exploration of job openings and educational events does not require account creation. However, registering for events, purchasing admission tickets, submitting job applications, or creating hiring entity profiles requires verifying your email through a secure One-Time Password (OTP).

• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your session and devices.
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your credentials or security breach.

3. Event Ticketing, Pricing & Payment Terms

Events on Lerny may be offered free of charge or require paid ticket admission passes.

• Currency: All ticket prices and fee amounts displayed on Lerny are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR - ₹) inclusive of applicable taxes, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Payment Processing: Online payments are processed through secure, RBI-authorized third-party payment aggregator partners, including Cashfree Payments. By submitting payment details, you authorize Cashfree to process your transaction.
• Data Security: Lerny does not store or process sensitive card credentials, CVVs, or bank net-banking passwords on its servers. All payment flows comply with PCI-DSS standards maintained by our payment gateway.
• Booking Confirmation: Upon successful payment confirmation from the gateway, a unique digital admission ticket with a tamper-resistant QR code is generated and made immediately accessible at /tickets/[code] and sent to your verified email.

4. Event Attendance & Admission Rules

Presentation of a valid, authorized Lerny digital QR ticket or printed pass is required for admission to ticketed events:

• Each ticket carries a unique code and can be admitted and checked in only once. Duplicate scanning attempts will result in gate rejection.
• The event organizer reserves the right of admission and the enforcement of venue-specific guidelines (e.g., dress codes, age limits, code of conduct).
• Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless permitted under the specific event policy.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations, ticket refunds, and event postponements are governed by our dedicated Refunds & Cancellations Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Approved refunds are initiated through Cashfree Payments back to the original payment source within 5 to 7 working days.

6. Organizer & Employer Obligations

Institutions, schools, and organizers posting teaching vacancies or events agree that:

• All listing details (salary range, venue location, schedule, eligibility) are genuine and accurate.
• They hold all necessary government approvals, affiliations, and safety permissions to conduct the listed events or hire staff.
• They will not charge unauthorized interview or recruitment fees to job applicants.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, designs, trademarks, text, graphics, and interactive map interfaces on Lerny are the exclusive intellectual property of Lerny and its licensors, protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian laws, Lerny shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or inability to use the platform, including event cancellations, venue safety, employment disputes, or third-party payment gateway downtime.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
