- Academic & Profile Data: For educators, qualifications, teaching levels, subjects, and resume files uploaded voluntarily for job applications.
- Event Registration Details: Institution affiliation, chosen pass tier, attendee names, and generated ticket QR codes.
- Payment Information (PCI-DSS Scoped): When purchasing ticket passes, payment transactions are executed directly through secure third-party payment aggregator servers (primarily Cashfree Payments). Lerny never stores, captures, or retains credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or net-banking credentials on its servers.
3. Purpose and Use of Collected Data
The information collected is used exclusively for:
- Issuing verifiable digital passes and processing entrance gate check-ins.
- Transmitting transactional confirmations, OTP codes, and refund notices.
- Connecting verified teaching candidates with accredited hiring schools and institutions.
- Preventing duplicate ticket scans, unauthorized scalping, and fraudulent activities.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We respect your personal information and do not sell or rent data to commercial advertisers:
- Payment Aggregators: Transaction amounts and user references are securely communicated to Cashfree Payments for authorizing charges and issuing refunds.
- Event Organizers: Attendee registration lists (name, email, pass type) are provided to the designated event host institution solely for logistics, attendance check-in, and safety.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required under applicable Indian laws, court orders, or law enforcement summons.
5. Data Retention & Security Standards
All communications and sessions use industry-standard 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption. Authentication tokens are maintained using secure, httpOnly, encrypted cookies. Data is stored on secure cloud database clusters with continuous backup safeguards and restricted role-based administrative access.
6. User Rights & Grievance Redressal
